מחקר

נוירואימונולוגיה היא תחום המחקר המתקדם ביותר בחקר מחלות מוח ובמיוחד במחלת האלצהיימר. אנו חוקרים כיצד תאי מערכת החיסון מתקשרים עם המוח במהלך ההזדקנות, במוחם של אנשים הסובלים ממחלת האלצהיימר כמו גם אצל אנשים עם תסמונת דאון. תחום מחקר נוסף ומשמעותי במעבדה הינו הקשר המנגנוני בין הריון עם עובר תסמונת דאון לבין הסיכון המוגבר לדעיכה קוגניטיבית אימהית.
