The Mina & Everard Goodman Faculty of Life Sciences offers students biological knowledge and a scientific education based on modern research. Our Faculty includes over 40 scientists-researchers who have a wide variety of research interests and who teach courses related to their specializations. Each Faculty member heads an active and dynamic research group that includes research associates, technicians and graduate students. The different fields taught in the Faculty of Life Sciences towards BSc, MSc, and PhD degrees are divided into several main research categories: Cellular and Developmental Biology, Ecology and Plant Sciences, Immunology and Cancer Research, Computational and Structural Biology, Microbiology and Virology, and Neurobiology.
Programs of Study
BSc studies are offered in the following fields: Life Sciences, Biotechnology,Computational Biology (Bioinformatics), and Biophysics. MSc studies are offered in the fields of: Botany, Biochemistry, Zoology, Microbiology, Ecology,Human Biology, Biotechnology and Computational Biology. In PhD study, the research subject is determined according to the research fields of the supervisor in a specific laboratory.
