Research Groups
The Faculty of Life Sciences is home to nearly 50 research groups working across a broad range of scientific fields
Our research laboratories are centers of scientific excellence where new ideas emerge, scientific careers are built, and discoveries are made that influence our understanding of life and the world around us. Each laboratory operates within the Faculty's innovative research environment, supported by advanced core facilities, state-of-the-art imaging services, and cutting-edge scientific infrastructure.
Students pursuing undergraduate, master's, and doctoral degrees become involved in scientific research from the early stages of their studies as members of active research teams. They work closely with leading scientists, participate in international collaborations, contribute to scientific publications, present their findings at conferences, and receive the mentorship and support needed to develop as independent researchers.
The Faculty also maintains an extensive research infrastructure, including its Interdepartmental Equipment Unit, which provides shared access to advanced scientific instrumentation and technologies, enabling research at the highest level.
The Faculty of Life Sciences fosters excellence, curiosity, and innovative thinking. Our laboratories provide an ideal environment for scientific, professional, and personal growth.
Faculty members are active researchers conducting groundbreaking studies that receive national and international recognition.
