Life Sciences and Brain Science (Double Major) (.B.Sc)
מה לומדים בתואר ולמה כדאי ללמוד אותו בבר-אילן?
Bar-Ilan University’s interdisciplinary program in Brain Science and Life Sciences offers a unique combination of two dynamic and essential fields. With a strong emphasis on hands-on research and lab experience, this program prepares students for an exciting and challenging scientific future.
Students gain a deep understanding of the complex interface between the nervous system and cellular biology, while also exploring key topics in psychology to better understand the connections between brain function and human behavior.
The curriculum includes both theoretical and practical courses, with opportunities to join research labs early in the program. Students graduate with strong analytical and investigative skills in areas such as neurophysiology, biochemistry, neuroanatomy, and computational approaches—alongside practical lab training.
This program equips students for a research-focused career, with an emphasis on innovation and professional development across both disciplines.
Activities and Practical Experience
The Life Sciences curriculum in this track includes hands-on experience in two teaching laboratories: Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. In addition, the Neuroscience program features additional lab courses as well as a practicum.
