Guidelines

Regular track

PhD students in the regular (not combined) track are required to complete 8 credits for a PhD degree (not including courses in Judaic Studies). 

These 8 credits include mandatory as well as elective courses as follows: 

Each year, the students must re-register, using code 80-769-01 for thesis grade and code 80-900-01 for the departmental seminar (no credits).

Students must choose four seminars from the list provided,

The remaining courses should be selected from the elective courses listed to reach a total of 8 credits.

Intensive lab dates

Combined track

PhD students in the combined track are required to complete 5 credits for a PhD degree (not including courses in Judaic Studies). 

These 5 credits include mandatory as well as elective courses as follows:
