MVI is headquartered in Stuart, Florida, and has a regional office in Israel.
MVI is seeking a highly motivated marine biologist/marine environmental scientist to join our growing consulting office and local team in Israel.
With a strong portfolio of marine work including many high profile infrastructure projects in the nearshore and offshore environments, both nationally and internationally, our team is expanding and is looking to recruit one new team member. The MVI team is highly innovative and advises major clients in Israel and internationally, performing scientific field studies and preparing survey reports and desktop environmental assessments as well various other marine environmental services.
This is an excellent career opportunity to work with an expert consulting team who is committed to delivering exceptional client value and to work on challenging environmental management projects for large industrial clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to environmental field studies and environmental permitting for a variety of projects in the Israeli marine environment. Projects may include fish and fish habitat surveys, environmental effects monitoring programs, marine mammal surveys, benthic habitat surveys, among others, as they relate to development in the marine environment. Our projects require a mix of scientific, statistical and written and oral communication skills.
The successful candidate will work on a variety of interesting technical projects for clients in the oil & gas, energy, and other marine sectors in Israel, with increasing responsibility for task/project management duties. The candidate will have a track record of technical excellence in marine biology or other equivalent discipline. The candidate will be engaged in a demanding and dynamic working environment and will need to possess a strong client-focused approach, as well as have the ability to work both individually and in a team environment.
